Oberkirch, Württemberg, Baden-Württemberg, Deutschland

The “Culinary Wine Hike” has become a classic. Hiking enthusiasts and wine gourmets are invited to hike from “hell to paradise” through the beautiful vineyard landscape of Oberkirch. The 7-kilometre trail leads past Oberkirch’s landmarks – the Schauenburg ruins and Gaisbach Castle – and promises a special hiking experience with fantastic views over Oberkirch and into the Rhine valley. Delicious Oberkirch wines, sparkling wines and culinary delicacies are served at the stations. You can start at the Oberkirch market square between 10:00 and 14:00. Various bands will provide musical entertainment along the hiking routes.

The wine hiking passes, which are available at a pre-sale price of 15 euros, include a sparkling wine and six wines.

A supporting programme, especially for the little ones, provides entertainment along the way – pure enjoyment, simply heavenly!

The Heidelberg wine village awaits you in the heart of the old town.

Nestled in the hills of the Bergstrasse and protected from cold easterly winds by the Odenwald, Heidelberg benefits from a mild climate and offers vines on sun-drenched slopes everything they need to thrive and produce high-quality wines. Heidelberg is therefore the ideal place for good wine!

For the fourth time, the Heidelberg Wine Village from 2 – 13 October 2024 offers the opportunity to get to know the culinary delights of Heidelberg in the heart of the Old Town in addition to the city’s sights.

The Heidelberg Wine Village is open from 3.00 pm on the opening day and from 11.00 am to 9.00 pm on all other days.

And for all those who would like to take the good wines home with them or give them as a gift, the “Heidelberg Triad” set, consisting of three exquisite Heidelberg wines – one bottle each from the Bauer, Clauer and Winter wineries – is a delicious idea.

Bringing in the last load

Celebrate the end of the grape harvest in Franconia with the winegrowers of Iphofen! Decorated winegrowers’ carts move to the market square accompanied by music, where culinary delicacies and, of course, Iphofen wine invite you to linger.

Harvest time is pleasure time

The Iphöfer winegrowers invite you to the festive collection of the “last load” in Iphofen.

The “Letzte Fuhre” symbolises the end of the grape harvest in the wine villages of Franconia. With festively decorated floats, the Iphofen winegrowers parade from the Einersheim gate to the historic market square at 1.30 pm, accompanied by the winegrowers’ dance group and the band of the volunteer fire brigade.

Celebrating together with the winegrowers

Mayor Dieter Lenzer, the Iphöfer wine princess and representatives of the Iphöfer churches ceremoniously welcome the winegrowers with their harvest carts. After short speeches and the blessing of the grapes, typical Franconian delicacies such as brakeman, onion tart, lard bread, bratwurst and coffee and cake invite you to linger on the town hall forecourt.

The children of the winegrowers’ dance group entertain with Franconian dances.

The musical accompaniment to the colourful hustle and bustle on the market square is provided by the marching band of the Iphofen volunteer fire brigade.

Cellar party for an enjoyable finale

Following the living tradition of the “Letzten Fuhre”, there is a cellar party in the Iphofen town hall cellar. The Iphofen Volunteer Fire Brigade, as organiser, invites all guests to round off the evening in a cosy atmosphere.
