“The longest wine bar in the world” is in Wiesbaden: For ten days from 8 to 17 August 2025, the Schlossplatz, the square in front of the Marktkirche and the Dern’sche Gelände will once again be transformed into a dream destination for friends of fine Rheingau wines.
Over 100 wine stands and three stages.
Toasting with a sparkling wine in a convivial atmosphere, enjoying a familiar or newly discovered favourite wine with friends, a small treat and plenty of good humour and good music: the 46th Rheingau Wine Week, which takes place on the Schlossplatz, in front of the Marktkirche and on the Dern’sche grounds, is eagerly awaited by wine lovers from home and abroad.
A total of over 100 winegrowers from Wiesbaden and the Rheingau region present their products, while more than 20 other stands offer gastronomic specialities such as barbecue specialities and sweet treats such as crêpes. The purchase of the wine festival glass has also long been a cherished custom. The coveted wine festival glass is available at the wine stands during the wine week and at the Wiesbaden Tourist Information Centre at Marktplatz 1.
Well-known bands from various genres will perform on the three stages on the Schlossplatz, in front of the Marktkirche and on the Dern’schen grounds to entertain visitors musically.
